Hoopsters Basketball is for 3rd-5th grade girls & boys and is the official developmental league for the Plainwell Trojans Basketball Program. Hoopsters is a 3 on 3 format. The 3 v 3 league is organized as a way to develop the skills necessary for youth basketball players to compete at the next level while keeping fun at the center of every player’s experience. During the 10-week season (2 weeks of practice only / 8 weeks of practice and games), players will meet 2x per week for 60-minute sessions. The first two weeks will offer two practice sessions with no games. After the initial two weeks, one session will take place during a scheduled practice time during the week. The second session will take place on Saturday mornings for a 20-minute skill session and a 40-minute game (consisting of four 8-minute quarters). Games will be played in Plainwell, Otsego, Martin and Allegan.
NOTE: Registration Deadline is Nov. 11th. When registering, please use an email that you check regularly as that is how communications will be shared. You will receive an email by Dec. 2nd with team assignments, practice days and times. The game schedule will be released after Jan. 3rd.
Please note: We CANNOT guarantee placement of students that miss the registration deadline and coach requests will not be honored.
