Swim lessons are in the new fieldhouse pool. The Plainwell fieldhouse is located at 684 Starr rd. Right across from the high school.
Parking-The parking in front of the fieldhouse is for drop offs and handicap only. If you are attending any of our classes pool patrons must park in the lot across from the fieldhouse or the old pool parking lot and walk to the fieldhouse
Please check in for lessons at the front desk.
First day of lessons is a test day. It is to see each child’s swim ability and to make sure that they are safe in the water. Once they have been assessed by our instructor, the child will be put in one of three groups. Beginner, Intermediate or advanced. Groups are based on ability NOT age.
We ask that parent/guardians sit in the pool stands during lessons. Parents/guardians are not permitted on the pool deck during lessons.
ALL children must be in appropriate swim attire. This includes suits, swim trunks and appropriate swim shirts.
No gym shorts, pajamas, bike shorts, sports bras, cut offs or anything other than appropriate swim attire will be permitted.
ALL patrons must shower before and after classes
The pool is located in the back of the Plainwell Middle School. Use the Parking Lot located off of Starr Rd.
